TME® Version 8.0.0 introduces a fresh new look and feel, along with enhanced usability and mobile responsiveness. This update also addresses several bug fixes to improve system stability and performance.

New Features & Enhancements

Global Improvements

  • Updated User Interface: The visuals throughout the TME® software have been refreshed with a modernized black and white theme. Users will experience a sleeker design with improved contrast and readability, flattened screens (no more popup windows), and page navigation/buttons at the top of the screen making navigation more intuitive.

  • Mobile Responsiveness: Consolidation of desktop and mobile views allows for better adaptability, including the ability to resize screens on mobile devices. The interface now dynamically adjusts based on screen size, providing a seamless experience across different devices.

  • Performance Enhancements: Optimized loading times and reduced latency ensure a smoother workflow for users. Background processes have been streamlined to minimize lag and improve responsiveness.

  • Improved Accessibility: Enhancements to font sizes and color contrasts ensure better visibility and ease of use for a broader range of users.

  • Navigation Streamlining: Menu structures have been reworked to allow for quicker access to frequently used features, reducing the number of clicks required to perform key actions.

Bug Fixes

Global

  • Apostrophes in Barcodes: Added ability to include apostrophes in barcode values throughout TME.

Asset Management

  • AutoID Issue: Resolved an issue where adding an Asset with AutoID enabled resulted in duplicate entries.

  • Duplicate Home Page: Fixed a problem in the Reconciliation module where duplicate home pages appeared unexpectedly.

Check In/Out

  • Incorrect Time Display: Resolved an issue where the time was incorrectly displayed in UTC instead of the local time zone.

Contacts

  • Apostrophe in Company and Department Names: Resolved issue whereby use of apostrophe in the Company or Department name can be saved and no longer causes an error.

Purchasing

  • Updated print queries to include several standard fields

Runtime Engine

  • Report Subscriptions: Removed three blank columns included in CSV formatted reports.

Work in Process

  • “Change To” Configured with Current Process on Data Collection Run Rule: When the “Change To” configuration on a Data Collection Run Rule was set to a specific, named Process, the functionality worked when a violation was triggered. The matter of configuring to the Current Process has now been addressed and works as designed.

  • Apostrophe in Operation and Process Names: Resolved issue whereby use of apostrophe in the Operation or Process name can be saved and no longer causes an error.

Work Tracking

  • Return Inventory: Fixed the feature so that it will submit the return to inventory transaction from a work order.

This release delivers significant visual enhancements and stability improvements. Users are encouraged to update to Version 8.0 to take advantage of these fixes and new features.
